Can QMAC Go The Distance???

The QMAC team hopes to raise money for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) by cycling the equivalent distance from Donaghmore to the Royal Victoria Hospital and back (110 miles) in 8 hours on 28 April 2017 at Today's Extra, Donaghmore from 8am to 4pm.

Revive ICU is a registered charity that helps support patients, relatives and staff in providing new and improved facilities for ICU at Royal Victoria Hospital. By helping Revive we can help our community, family and friends should they ever require the great care that is given in this unit. The ICU at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast treats over 1500 seriously ill patients each year from all over Northern Ireland and further afield. The unit deals with patients with major trauma, chest and severe head and neck injuries, along with many other patients with other severe life-threatening medical conditions. Over 250 staff provides essential care for critically ill patients in RICU. Several members of the QMAC team have personally experienced the amazing care provided within the ICU and our aim is to raise awareness and vital funds to assist Revive continue their extraordinary work.
