Redevelopment of New Gate Arts & Culture Centre, L/Derry

The c. £2.3m project, completed in 2023, consisted of an extension and alterations to New Gate Arts & Culture Centre within the Fountain estate. The aim of the project was to provide modern performance and multi-use spaces, offices, and a café. Work included structural openings, alterations, restoration works, modernisation of the existing building (including existing services), and construction of a new extension to the southwest of the existing building.

The new theatre and performing arts venue now provides a shared space for the North West Cultural Partnership (NWCP) to deliver a wide range of cultural programmes and services.
